We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help expand Babylon’s ecosystem partnerships and institutional adoption. This role reports directly to the Head of Go-To-Market (GTM) and will play a critical role in helping bring Bitcoin into the broader decentralized economy.

You are a relationship-driven operator who thrives at the intersection of crypto, finance, and technology. You enjoy building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and working with ecosystem participants to unlock new use cases for digital assets.

You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable navigating the fast-moving crypto landscape. You are able to take ownership of partnerships from initial conversations through integration and launch.

You are fluent in both Mandarin and English and comfortable building relationships across global crypto markets.

What You’ll Do

You will lead and support key ecosystem partnerships to accelerate adoption of Babylon’s products, including Bitcoin staking and trustless Bitcoin vault infrastructure.

Ecosystem Partnerships

• Identify, source, and close strategic partnerships with exchanges, custodians, wallets, DeFi protocols, and infrastructure providers
  
• Develop relationships with institutional Bitcoin holders, market makers, and crypto funds
  
• Expand Babylon’s presence across Asia and global crypto markets

Business Development Execution

• Manage the full partnership lifecycle from initial outreach through integration and launch
  
• Structure partnership agreements including commercial terms, incentives, and go-to-market collaboration
  
• Work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to align partner integrations with Babylon’s roadmap
  

Market Expansion

• Represent Babylon Labs at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings
  
• Maintain strong relationships with key players across the Bitcoin and DeFi ecosystems
  
• Identify emerging market opportunities and strategic initiatives for Babylon
  

Internal Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with GTM, product, and engineering teams to prioritize integrations
  
• Provide market intelligence and partner feedback to inform product strategy
  
• Help shape Babylon’s ecosystem growth strategy
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem growth
  
• 2+ years of experience in the crypto or blockchain industry
  
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  
• Strong understanding and network in the crypto ecosystem, including custodians, DeFi protocols, and infrastructure providers
  
• Ability to build relationships with institutional partners and senior executives
  
• Strong negotiation, communication, and partnership management skills
  
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
  

Nice to Have

• Existing network within the Bitcoin ecosystem
  
• Experience working with institutional crypto players (funds, market makers, custodians)
  
• Familiarity with Bitcoin infrastructure, DeFi protocols, or staking systems
  
• Experience working with cross-border partnerships across Asia and global markets
