A Babylon finality provider (FP) is an entity tasked with several roles like ensuring transaction finality on PoS networks that use BTC in their security models.
Finality providers are also responsible for voting in PoS networks and can receive voting power delegation from BTC stakers. In return, they earn a commission fee from staking rewards.
The FP toolset does not have any special hardware requirements and can operate on standard mid-sized machines running a UNIX-flavored operating system.
